Faith and Resilience: Help Us Build a Family Foundation

Faith brought me to California. A place I had never been to pursue a dream for my 10-year-old daughter. I left everything behind, including a decade-long career in the medical field, believing that faith would guide us. However, the journey was humbling and filled with unexpected challenges.

We faced homelessness, moving between hotels and shared spaces, relying on vouchers and temporary solutions. At one point, we stayed in a one-bedroom home with five others and sometimes more. I didn’t understand the cost of living here, nor did I anticipate how much I would have to rely on faith and resilience.

Eventually, through prayer and aligned resources, we found a room of our own in a historic home. It wasn’t much, but it was a safe place to lay our heads and a blessing we didn’t take for granted. This experience taught me the value of family, community, and the power of coming together to create something greater.

Now, I am working to build a foundation for my family where we can reunite and grow together. With your donation, you will help us take the next step toward purchasing a home in California, a space where my family can come together to support and strengthen our bond.
